Abstract
We define our creative writing workshop model for an MA programme to teach both critical thinking and writing, and creative writing. Our approach explicitly combines critical subject matter and creative teaching methods, celebrating links and attachments, convergences and diffusions, between academic study, literature, creative writing (at heart, we believe all writing is creative) and critical theories of posthuman literature, science and philosophies. Our aim in connecting critical thinking through creative writing teaching methods, is to attune students to possible new critical perceptions of posthuman society, and also bring about new configurations of storytelling and literature whilst expanding the pedagogical opportunities for using creative writing teaching methods in all subjects.
